Max Yeo's Photography (Simon Goh's Kitbash)

My buddy, Max Yeo shot some wonderful portrait photography for a local kit basher (Simon Goh) at The Falcon's Hangar yesterday..drool at these wonderful shots~~
Nice work, bro!!

These kitbashes by Simon will be on display in OneSixthWarriors.com stall in Toy Carnival @SAM at 8Q this Sunday, 5th Dec..Do dropby!!

Here are some highlights of the 12inch figures Max shot:-

unboxing ThreeA - Adventure Kartel - 12inch Tommy Mission Blood Nails

This is a BBICN.com exclusive of 12inch Tommy Mission, designed by Ashley Wood and produced by ThreeA. It's possibly the most hi-quality designer 12inch figure among the others. I loved the smell of the fresh paint when you open the box...quite addictive :P

Hottoys MMS117 - 12inch Terminator 2 Judgement Day-T800

This is a Classic Masterpiece any Terminator fans die-die must buy~!!!
(Box Design-front)

"The Terminator" aka Model T-800 refers to a number of fictional characters portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger – a cyborg, initially portrayed as a programmable assassin and military infiltration unit.

medicom BM Project 12inch Kamen Rider KIVA

Thanks to brudder raymond for getting this figure to complete the missing link. Owe you many teh-si in 2010 hahaha

Unboxing SideShow 12inch Sandtrooper Squad Leader Tatooine

Other than it's poor joints and "shitty" paint job, otherwise this would be a wonderful collection in my SW troopers..but...sigh...as compared to medicom sandtrooper, this paint job doesn't look like sand...more like shit to me...quite terrible in my opinion.

unboxing of hottoys 12inch 300: king leonidas

Collector's review for this 1/6 figure was very much positive so far, as if it's almost perfect, but for me, i think the face colors is a bit off (slightly darker) as compared with the body. However, overall is a keeper!!

(part 2) opening of 1/6 scale Project BM AKIRA "Kaneda Shotaro"

ok a lot of collectors asked me to elaborate the pro and cons of this figure so here's what i personally feel lacking:
- leather material too thin

- nude body is too skinny

opening of 1/6 scale Project BM AKIRA "Kaneda Shotaro"

This latest 12inch figure personally doesn't quite meet the usual BM Project quality, the material feels cheap and the workmanship looks crappy.

opening of 1/6 scale Project BM AKIRA "Kaneda Bike"

This has got to be the most anticipated 1/6 scale for anime fans of the cult classic AKIRA in 2010...not only it's die-cast, there's led lights and sound too!!! absolutely awesome!!

VTS-12inch Collectibles-Stone Cold Killers (Sin City-Hartigan)

Got this last evening. It's the 1st 12inch Collectibles from a HK based company called VTS (Virtual Toys), IMHO it looks like a KO "Hartigan" from the Frank Miller's movie Sin City. Since there's no body provided therefore i have to dig a spare from my toys shelf.

(snapshots) opening of Hottoys 12inch Blade II - Blade

Here's a few snapshots for my blade 2 this evening. If there's a award for "Best Toys Packaging Design" i think we know who the contender is :)

opening of Hot Toys 1/6 scale Mars Attacks!! Soldier and Ambassador

Mars Attacks is a 1996 comic science fiction film directed by Tim Burton and based on the cult trading card series of the same name. The film uses elements of black comedy, surreal humour and political satire, and is also a parody of multiple science fiction B movies. Mars Attacks! stars an ensemble cast, which includes Jack Nicholson, Lukas Haas, Annette Bening, Jim Brown, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Glenn Close, Martin Short, Michael J. Fox, Jack Black, Natalie Portman and Danny DeVito.

I love the box design, very retro...makes the actual figures pale in comparison.
