This time-lapse video of the 1:1 scale model Gundam in Shizuoka, Japan, is the most visually stunning thing you're bound to see all day. Watch it and go into a trance, only to wake up and book flights to Japan. It was built to mark the 30th anniversary of the Gundam plastic figurines at the end of July.

JIN JIN Hot/Cold Dessert @ ABC Brickswork Food Centre

Was anticipating a good char-siew Sunday dinner at Fatty Cheong Roast Duck and Meat (肥仔祥烧腊) at ABC market but it was closed (as usual). It's so hard to catch their stall opening during standard dinner hours especially when it's sold out early.
Quite sad, but luckily we found this great dessert stall that cools our graving.

This dessert stall serves cheap, yummy Durian Mango Ice @ SG$2.50
If you're not a fan of durian, there's also plain Mango Ice.
